Hello, my name is Anthony Paul and I am a Licensed Social Worker. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, I lived in Houston for 10 years before realizing how much I missed Chicago. Now, I'm back and here to stay!

I believe in creating a safe therapeutic space free from judgment with a strength based approach. As a Black male therapist, I strongly believe in the importance of culturally competent therapy and strive to bring that into my practice. I am particularly passionate about providing adolescent boys with a positive male role model in a therapeutic environment where they feel seen, heard, and respected. I aspire to help them develop emotional regulation skills and explore complex emotions, offering tools for navigating tough moments.

I specialize in Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, behavioral challenges, and life changes. I strive to help them grow and navigate through childhood and adolescence. I tailor my evidence-based interventions to the individual profile of each child to promote emotional and developmental growth, while honoring the uniqueness that makes them a one-of-a-kind, extraordinary individual.

In early years of child development I believe it is important to have unconditional support and I want my clients to feel understood and heard and be their true authentic self and an active part of their healing journey.

I utilize play therapy to make sessions enjoyable, engaging and foster trust to make it easier for kids to express themself and explore challenges in an outlet that feels natural and comfortable. Together, we can create a path toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. I look forward to joining them on this important journey.

I understand how intimidating therapy can be for a child and their parents and am committed to creating a safe collaborative environment where all individuals can feel safe and supported.
