Greetings Everyone! I'm Katrina, or Kat for short, a dedicated young adult therapist specializing in helping clients navigate challenging emotions, adapt to life's changes, and develop behaviors that bring them pride and fulfillment.

With extensive experience supporting children and adolescents aged 4 to 15, I've worked with a range of diagnoses including Anxiety, ASD, ADHD, OCD, and ODD. My expertise also extends to those facing behavioral challenges in school and seeking guidance in emotional regulation. I believe every child deserves an unwavering supporter who meets them where they are and never gives up on them. This belief shapes my approach in working with children and adolescents. I understand that every child is unique, which is why I adopt an integrative approach in my practice. My specialization lies in employing evidence-based interventions and play-based techniques enriched with creative elements to promote healing and facilitate growth.

Therapy can seem daunting, which is why I adopt a collaborative, strengths-based, and enjoyable approach. This empowers the child, enabling them to express themselves in a safe and supportive environment, building a strong therapeutic relationship and providing tools for future self-regulation.

I firmly believe that therapy should be engaging and enjoyable for children. That's why I integrate interactive games and hands-on creative exercises tailored to each child's interests. Through these activities, children not only learn valuable coping skills but also develop a deeper sense of self-awareness and confidence.

My outgoing, fun, and optimistic nature infuses therapy sessions, creating an atmosphere where the child can flourish and feel at ease expressing themselves. Throughout this journey, the child will gain a variety of skills and learn how to navigate their lives and improve their emotional regulation.
