I want to support you on your journey to the highest version of yourself!  My name is Lauren Victoria, and I am a therapist based on the South Side of Chicago. I am passionate about raising collective consciousness, mental health, and wellness in marginalized communities.

I received my B.A. in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University, and my M.A. in Counseling from Northwestern University. I work primarily with adults (21+) needing support on their spiritual journey, or experiencing panic, anxiety, stress, trauma, transition, and conflict.   As a therapist, I strive to create a safe space for individuals to explore the depths of their psyche. My approach is insight-oriented and strengths-based; rooted largely in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral theories. I focus on 1) coping skills to alleviate distress, regulate emotions, and build resilience, 2) neurophysiological psychoeducation to restore healthy mind-body connection, and 3) illumination of the subconscious mind to transcend and "reprogram" harmful beliefs.   

I am especially passionate about client empowerment through integration of spiritual practices, such as ancestral veneration, yoga, tarot, and meditation. As an apothecary owner, I also honor nature as sacred, and encourage clients to connect holistically to her healing power. I am certified in Sound & Vibration Therapy with Reiki Integration, and will complete 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training this year.
