Lytashia Davis, MFT

Hello! My name is Lytashia (lah-TAH-shuh). I received my BA in Human Services at National Louis University and my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in couples therapy at National University. My areas of focus include providing a safe and warm space for  adults to improve their view of self, enhance their awareness,  improve their self-care process, repair family conflicts and work towards being the best version of themselves. I also work with couples and families to learn healthy coping and communication skills, repair wounds and conflict, navigate different personalities and break destructive patterns. 

In the work I do with clients I utilize a variety of approaches that are based upon client need,  including but not limited to; Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. these techniques help us to challenge thoughts, behaviors and the story's we have been telling ourselves that may have hindered growth and impacted life in a negative way. 

I specialize in couples therapy where I help couples learn how to communicate effectively, identify and resolve issues, and develop a sense of purpose to keep going. Some of my foundational principles include empowering self-growth, setting goals, and identifying ways to achieve them.

I am committed to providing a trusting safe, and non-judgmental environment where clients are free and open to express themselves. I am passionate about relationships, family, and self-care.
