Maria Nadupparambil, LPC

Hello, my name is Maria! I am a licensed professional counselor who earned a Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Benedictine University. I have worked in a variety of different settings such as inpatient, residential, nonprofit, domestic violence shelters, and private practice, which have all provided substantial knowledge to provide evidence-based therapy to my clients.

I treat mood disorders, relationship conflicts, communication issues, ADHD, self esteem, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is solution-focused;  I want to help you overcome the obstacles in your life by teaching you coping skills, improving self-esteem and encouraging you to work towards your values. My work is greatly influenced by my background in CBT, DBT, behavior modification, and positive psychology. In my free time, I like to be outdoors, spend time with family and friends, and travel to learn about different cultures.
