Hello there, and congrats on taking the journey to improving your life. My name is Jonathan, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapeutic services for over 10 years. I was born and raised in Robbins, IL, a small suburb right outside of Chicago. 

Things about me, I am a Chicago sports fan Bulls, Bears, and Cubs. I attended the University of Illinois (Go Illini) for both my undergraduate and graduate degrees.

I specialize in understanding the unique needs of children and adolescents, helping them cope with issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, trauma, and academic challenges. I employ a child-friendly and evidence-based approach to create a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment. Through one-on-one sessions, Ive provided support to individuals facing a range of mental health issues, including stress management, anger management, self-esteem, grief, and more. My approach is holistic and tailored to each persons unique needs.

As a Black therapist, I bring cultural sensitivity and awareness to my practice, ensuring that clients from diverse backgrounds feel heard and understood. I recognize the impact of race, ethnicity, and culture on mental health, and Im committed to promoting inclusivity and equality. I am well-versed in trauma-informed therapy and have worked with clients who haveexperienced various forms of trauma. My goal is to provide a healing and empowering space for trauma survivors to reclaim their lives.
